Re-farming Campaign on Lamma 2015 – The Harvest Day ( 2015/11/17 )
| After 3 months of farming, the harvesting day had finally come! Due to the prolonged heat and little precipitation throughout the growing period of our rice, there were limited harvest.
Luckily, the herbs we planted grew well and allowed us to make refreshing drinks of herbs and honey for the volunteers after the hard work. It was such a relaxing afternoon! We prepared for our farming break by planting potatoes and making colourful signage for our crops. The potatoes will be ready to harvest by March next year and we shall start another round of rice planting by then too!
