Morocco has switched on the world's largest concentrated solar power (CSP) plant in February 2016! Instead of using photovoltaic panels, the plants has installed a large set of parabolic mirrors, which focus the sunlight and heat up a liquid. The liquid will reach around 400°C when mixed with water and the steam produced will then drive a turbine for electricity.
