Re-farming Campaign on Lamma 2015 – May ( 2015/05/11 )
Re-farming Campaign on Lamma 2015 has entered its third stage! The rice seedlings we have planted in April has grown a lot! The mission for our volunteers this month is to clear the weeds and mend the footpaths in the field. We first cut the weed around the field, then use the weed to mend the footpaths. Moreover, we have transplanted two species of herbs, namely Thyme and Patchouli, into the field, one for making herbal tea and one for seasoning. We will explore the natural habitats on Lamma aside from the regular farming work next month. Please visit here to learn more about our re-farming campaign last year. |
