Re-farming Campaign on Lamma 2016 - June   ( 2016/07/04 )

It’s the first time that the farming took place in the afternoon, and it turned out to be less challenging as there was no burning sun and much less chance for sunstroke. Besides the routine weed clearance, we harvested water spinach and patchouli, as a prelude to the upcoming rice harvesting.

The night eco-tour is also unforgettable!  We were lucky enough to witness a totally different eco-system from daytime! There were crabs on the tree, dragonflies sleeping quietly, big Tettigoniidaes flying everywhere, “ghost crabs” running wildly on the beach, Romer’s tree frogs yelling like crickets and etc.  Besides, we met red tail dragonflies, colorful butterflies, mantis in different growth stages, spiders and so on. What’s more, we found Scorpio, the Big Dipper and Jupiter in the sky!
