Re-farming Campaign on Lamma 2015 - Sowing ( 2015/04/13 )
| Re-farming Campaign on Lamma 2015 has entered the second stage! In March, we have weeded and prepared the soil for sowing the rice seedlings in April. On the big day, the weather was rainy and the soil was muddy. Our volunteering friends were not despair, but worked together and neatly sowed the rice seedlings. Also, participants were delighted to harvest the locally grown potatoes that were planted a few months ago.
Participants have had an unforgettable experience in local farming. We will explore the natural habitats on Lamma aside from the regular farming work next month. Please visit here to learn more about our re-farming campaign last year. |
