The breakwater will have to be constructed in sections in precast yards and towed to location, aligned and placed on seabed which will be strengthen by non-dredging method such as “stone column” or “deep cement grouting” to minimize impact on marine ecology.   During the casting process, it is possible to “cast-in” special features inside and outside the breakwater structure, hence making it possible to tailor for innovative uses, adding new life and meaning to the otherwise inert structure.
